Following the issue of the list of Key Workers by the government (see link below), we will remain open for all children whose parents come under the lists categories.
As it says, the government has “asked parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools (etc.), to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend.” Mount Preschool will therefore “continue to provide care for children who are vulnerable and children whose parents are critical to the Covid-19 response and cannot be safely cared for at home.”
If your job is listed within the government guidelines or if you consider your child to be vulnerable, and we haven’t yet had an opportunity to talk directly to you, please let me know so that we can add your child to our registers for the coming weeks. If you have decided to keep your child at home, again please let us know. For those children who will not be attending in the near future, we will not be charging any fees but will keep your child’s place open for the time when we can all get back to some normality.
